Spanish start-up supercar maker GTA has brought its final production version from the GTA Spano towards the Goodwood Festival of Speed to bring part inside the Michelin Supercar Run. The Spano is almost ten years inside the making.
The newest evolution from the production car was initially seen in the Geneva motor show in March, and it also received its dynamic debut at its first UK appearance at Goodwood. The mid-engined, rear-drive Spano uses an 8. 4-litre supercharged V10 engine having a reported 900bhp and 737lb ft of torque. It‘s said in order to sprint from 0-62mph in just 2. 9sec and reach a high speed of 217mph.
Weight is kept right all the way down to 1349kg thanks to some monocoque constructed from carbonfibre, Kevlar and titanium honeycomb, and carbonfibre bodywork. Stopping power is provided by carbon-ceramic disc brakes. Production from the GTA Spano is placed to become capped at 99 units. It costs around £650, 000 before taxes.
